Ralph CarsonOpening Night Keynote features Ralph Carson PhD speaking on Eat, Drink and Be Merry, for Healthy Eating May be Detrimental to Your Health
Dr Carson, always a compelling and entertaining speaker, will address the issues we face as we are inundated with conflicting nutritional information, food recalls and media messages of good and bad foods. This can create problematic relationships with foods that can lead to both psychological and physical health challenges. The treatment options of this condition, recently coined orthorexia, include a heaping dose of common sense, moderation, balance and a sense of humor.

The Opening Gala begins with a lively networking reception, followed by dinner and dancing!  Remuda Ranch will host the dinner/dance featuring music by The Beatles.  Don’t miss this fun night on Thursday, March 3rd.

All these events are free for registrants of Symposium 2011!  This year we are including lunches in the cost of registration and there will be special programming at each lunch on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday!
